N+ONE wanted to set the bar high for the company since early on in the company’s inception. It was important to the organization to introduce world class services to Morocco. When the company entered the African market in 2008/2009, colocation was not yet available, and education in the market became an important role for N+ONE to be sure the market understood what should be considered a “proper” data center facility. It became quickly evident that using Uptime Institute, the gold standard in data center certifications and related services was the right answer. Currently, N+ONE has over 4000 sqm of white space with the option to deploy an additional 12,000 square meters in a relatively short time.

The N+ONE team found the Tier certification process both from the design to the construction side to be very enlightening. The team felt it was a tremendous learning experience.

The assessments were smooth for the organization, as many had begun the journey with Uptime Institute Educational Training prior to embarking on the Tier Certification and assessments. N+ONE started the process by training staff as Accredited Tier Designers (ATD) before beginning the certification in order to begin with a strong start and make the overall experience simple and straight forward. The N+ONE team felt they knew and understood what needed to be accomplished after acquiring their individual ATD designations.

N+ONE is a full-service data center with services ranging from plain colo (space and power) to a rich catalogue of value-added services, including Private and Public Cloud and PaaS. Essentially, it boils down to the fact that downtime is not an option. N+ONE customers include a large number of critical systems that are vital for Morocco and there is an obligation to deploy all the means necessary to deliver on the N+ONE promise.
