Many companies showcase their awards on a compliance page, displaying award foils and detail. Below are some examples of how achievements have been incorporated onto individual webpages.
About Us/Company History Page:
We manage our searchable awards web pages on a near-daily basis—http://uptimeinstitute.com/uptime-institute-awards—this list is the most up-to-date authority on published Tier Certifications. Outside that published list, we do not provide comment on specific projects. Please do note, however, that it is possible for a project to have not reached the point where awards are published and not all clients authorize awards to be published.
Official foils are provided at the time of awarding. Any questions on awards can be sent to: [email protected].

Social media is an effective way to quickly communicate specific messages to your followers and enable them to continue spreading your good news. Visuals makes a big difference: posts that include images produce 650% higher engagement than text-only posts.
Social post examples:

Achieving Uptime’s [Certification / Award] has earned us a position of excellence in the #datacenter industry, validating that our facilities and operations meet key business objectives and deliver world-class #IT solutions to our clients and partners.
Many of our clients tweet around news worthy events, like celebrating the completion of their award.
LinkedIn and Facebook:
Uptime is extremely active on LinkedIn and Facebook. If you post your achievements, let us know so we can help support your achievement by posting congratulatory messages. We can also be sure to like and repost through our corporate social media handles on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Blog posts are another way to showcase your achievements and talk about your team’s experience as you went through the process. Be sure to add photos and quotes to bring the story to life and share it over your social channels.
White papers differentiate your company further by showcasing your technical prowess and excellence and detailing your accomplishment.
Investor Relations Page: Internal Communications:
Clients have shared the process of certification they have gone through with individual or multiple data center sites, showcasing the significance of the achievement and highlighting the impact it brings to the organization.
Newsletters are another good way to communicate achievements to staff. Your announcement in a newsletter could be a derivative of a press release, a case study, or simply a few sentences explaining the process and the significance of the achievement.
Here is some example copy for a newsletter:
We are pleased to announce that (Company) is further extending our push for excellence and have achieved Uptime Institute’s (list award here), validating that our organization now meets global standards to demonstrate our strong commitment to existing and future customers. Our exemplary team worked directly with Uptime experts to complete the assessment, utilizing and adding best practices. We continue to learn and improve, with the opportunity to go deep into each step of our technical and operational processes and activities. This includes applying the information we learned to team training, vendor training, visitor training and more. We have been able to change some internal training processes and build upon Uptime's recommendations. We are proud of our internal teams and what we have been able to accomplish.
Most companies have some form of formal training for new employees or when existing staff transition from one department to another. The onboarding and continuous training materials developed by organizations is yet another great opportunity to educate company staff on organizational achievements, awards and certifications.
When annual reports are created, include a description of your achievement along with the foil image. This provides additional exposure to stakeholders and emphasizes the significance and value the achievement presents to your organization.

Sales, Product and Site Specific Collateral:
Sales and product collateral and videos present more opportunities to further highlight, display and promote your organization's story and the value of your achievement.
Case studies detail the steps you took with Uptime experts to overcome challenges, earn your award and deliver your customers value. If you want to dive deeper into the purpose behind your Uptime Certification and what it took to attain it, a Case Study will help - view examples of Case Studies, or "Client Stories", that we have worked on with some of our clients:
Plaques and Displays:
Uptime Institute provides an achievement plaque to each organization that has completed an award to display on premise. Below are a few examples our clients have shared with us including plaques displayed outside a facility, main lobby, award cabinet or room, or other public spaces like conference rooms, lounges, kitchens, reception areas or executive lobbies.
As you conduct site tours, be sure to discuss how your achievement has enabled your facility to differentiate and elevate your organization as an industry leader. This allows prospective customers to take note of your best practices. Include a quick stop in front of your plaque to showcase and highlight the significance.
Many organizations participate in a variety of industry and investor-related events. Some hold groundbreaking or ribbon cutting and recognition ceremonies and invite key company and project stakeholders to participate. If you are interested in having an Uptime representative participate in your event, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
